A secret of a successful holiday is that you don’t always have to follow the overly- trodden tourist paths; not everybody knows this fact, but this is how we begin our advice today. The point is to try and find the lesser-known attractions that are most often equally spectacular. Here we are presenting four spectacular places that are unjustly ignored and less known than many other places. The are spread all over the world and it is worth going there and see for yourselves.
Debod Temple in Madrid
Spain's capital is a city full of people, noisy, with plenty of bars, traffic, and in a word ... full of life. That's why you love Madrid. Debod Temple is one of the most romantic (and less visited) places in town. It is a real Egyptian temple that was offered by the Egyptian government to Spain, in 1960. Nowadays it is a place where joggers, lovers and those who walk their dogs gather fr a peaceful and quiet walk. One of the best views of Madrid can be seen from the observation deck of the temple.
The stairs of the Cubist Czech Museum in Prague
Do not be scared by the thousands of tourists visiting Prague every day. Better try to discover the true treasures of this city. The stairs of the Cubist Museum of Prague represent one of these unseen such treasures. Mysterious, elegant and unique, this architectural exercise, designed by architect Gocar, is kept far from people’s eyes, but waiting to be discovered. The museum shop is also fantastic.
House of Guerlain Paris
Paris receives over 45 million visitors annually and is the mosty important touristic attraction of France. Imposing lights, large building, so much to see and do here that you have to make extra efforts to see and this less known but amazingly interesting and beautiful location. The House of Guerlain on the Champs Elysée has become a theme park, but it hides a real treasure. Guerlain (one of the oldest perfume houses in the world) has a small museum with free admission on the first floor of its shop. Do not hesitate and visit it. It thoroughly deserves to be visited and admired. After that you'll love "La France" forever.
Shaba Jazz Club in Tel Aviv
The city of Tel Aviv in Israel is one that almost never sleeps. Nightlife is downright vibrant in this corner of the Mediterranean. If you get there, you'll probably go in the outskirts of Port NeveTzedek. More than likely you didn not have in plan to listen to jazz, but remember that you have to do that in Shaba club - one of the best locations, located in a former hangar.
