THE SUSPENDED GARDENS AND THE BOHEMIAN SCENERY OF HAIFA

Haifa is one of the major cities in Israel, where you can spend a dream vacation. It has much to offer to its tourists and is open to all tastes and interests. Those who love the beach will find the perfect location on the shores of this Mediterranean city. Those who can’t conceive a holiday itinerary without spectacular views will enjoy the breathtaking panorama and the splendid gardens where you can spend as much time as you want. If you love history and art, there are a variety of area museums and galleries. With so many options at hand, do not worry that you'll get bored as long as you are in Haifa.

For those who want to take a break from antiques, religious places and historical offerings, the Israeli city of Haifa will be a breath of fresh air. You can laze on the golden sandy beaches as your heart desires, you can try to practice windsurfing or to explore the treasures of turquoise waters and perhaps it would not ever occur to you that you are still located at less than two hours’ drive to Jerusalem, the city so full of history.

The beaches of Haifa, with their lush vegetation aligned along the wide and perfectly aligned streets are a real delight for those who get there. Choose from Bat Galim or Carmel, if you intend to spend the day swimming in the calm waters. If you're with kids, it's better to go directly to Dado Zamir. In any case, if you want peace and relaxation, you will certainly feel better in the calm of Hof Hashaket.

If you are passionate about diving and archaeological discoveries, Shikmona beach is an ideal place where you can begin your underwater journey. However, unless you're an aficionado of sun and exercise, maybe you will want to explore the area in a more comfortable way on board of a boat that will take you towards the picturesque bay.

If you are available for walking, choose one of the paths that surround Mount Carmel. The road itself is not something out of the ordinary, but the surroundings and the spectacular view, which you can admire, besides the special places where you go, will certainly make you happy and you won’t regret this choice.

If you like spending more time outdoors, then go ahead and follow the road leading to the town of Ein Hod. It lies on the western slope of the mountain. Expect to find here olive groves dating from immemorial times and an incredible view of the sea. The area is a haven for bohemian souls and artists and here you will find several art galleries and workshops, waiting for you to visit and even take part in the activities that they offer.

Find exclusive artwork in the sculpture garden. Here you will encounter 29 remarkable bronze sculptures and it's very easy to discover the genius that lies behind these creations. The garden offers a wonderful view of the bay and city of Galilee. Of course, you cannot leave without visiting the marvelous Bahia Sepulchre and the Hanging Gardens. The landscape is rounded by the exquisite Persian gardens, the perfect lawns, bushes strategically located and palm trees swaying in the wind – all these and many other elements of sheer beauty enhance the aesthetics of the place with the blue sea in the background.

The experience in Haifa will certainly remain forever marked on your soul and mind.
